Forbes advocates regulations against consumers

May 16, 2009

But is staunchly against regulations to protect consumers or to prevent corruption in Wall Street. Interesting priorities:

The real problem? Copyright laws never anticipated a time when people would be able to broadcast essentially private content all over the world, including scraps of copyrighted material.
Washington, over to you.

Wonder which is the bigger threat. I don’t copyright violation caused the one of the greatest financial disasters in US history.

Time runs down a list of tech failures

May 16, 2009

Why doesn’t Time just rename itself List Magazine? All they do is lists all the time:

1. Microsoft Vista
2. Gateway
3. HD DVD
4. Vonage
5. YouTube
6. Sirius XM
7. Microsoft Zune
8. Palm
9. Iridium
10. Segway

How come there’s a mix of products and companies? Also, Microsoft bet on HD DVD, so chalk it as being involved in 3 failures.
